CARROG SCHOOL

A warm welcome to Lowri, Eleri and Rhian who have joined us this term from Pentrecelyn School.

The Nursey children Cara, Jacob, Thomas, Caolan, Amber, Rhian Haf and Morgan are all enjoying their morning sessions in School.

Carrog School won the Art Exhibition in the Llangollen Pavillion for the fourth time with Poppy, Barra, Sioned and Alice, all winning individual prices. The £100 prize donated by the Wild Pheasant Hotel, llangollen for the best overall school contribution will be used to buy art materials. All the Australian art work, which the children produced will be exhibited on Tuesday October 17th at 3.30 p.m. in the Village Hall.

All the Key Stage 2 children enjoyed a visit to the St Asaph Music Festival for a performance by world famous percussionist Evelyn Glennie. She played a variety of instruments from a snare drum to water ’phone.
